The result of the written examination conducted for UP Police Constable Recruitment for 60,244 posts has been released.
UP Police Constable Result has been released. Candidates can check their result by visiting uppbpb.gov.in or by clicking on the direct link given below. 174316 candidates, 2.5 times the total of 60,244 vacancies, have been declared successful in the written examination. The cutoff for unreserved category has been 214.04644.
All those who had got equal marks in the cutoff have been selected. Due to examination being conducted in more than one shift, the result has been calculated using normalization method.
Marks have been normalized. Successful candidates will be called for document verification and physical standard test (DV and PST) in the third week of December 2024. After this, the candidates found successful in DV and PST will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) in the third week of January.
About 48 lakh were registered in the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination, out of which about 32 lakh appeared. UP Police Constable Re-exam was conducted on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024 in a total of 10 shifts.

The Recruitment Board has said that all the objections received from all sources on the question papers and answer keys of the UP Police Constable written examination were thoroughly considered and as per the need, opinions were also obtained from multiple panels of subject experts.

How many races will have to be run in PET of UP Police Constable?
To be successful in the physical test, male candidates will have to complete a run of 4.8 km in 25 minutes, while female candidates will be required to complete a run of 2.4 km in 14 minutes.
Height rules to pass in PST of UP Police Constable
For UP Police Constable Recruitment, the minimum height of General, OBC and SC category should be 168 cm. Along with this, the chest of the candidate should be 79 cm without expansion and 84 cm after expansion. The minimum height of candidates coming from SC category is fixed at 160 cm. With this, the chest should be 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm after expansion.
Talking about women category, the minimum height for the selected candidates has been fixed at 152 cm. Whereas for female candidates coming from ST category, the minimum height is fixed at 147 cm.
