A man claiming to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the murder of Baba Siddiqui by writing a post on Facebook. In the same post, he also threatened actor Salman Khan. It was written in the post that whoever stands with Salman Khan should think about his consequences.

BJP leader Harnath Singh Yadav wrote on social media, “The Bishnoi community considers black deer as a deity and worships it and you hunted it, due to which the sentiments of the Bishnoi community were hurt.”
The BJP leader further wrote that while respecting the sentiments of the Bishnoi community, he should apologize to the Bishnoi community for his big mistake.
