Jharkhand Politics: Amidst the changing political developments in Jharkhand, Hemant Soren was again elected the leader of the legislative party. After this it was decided that Hemant Soren will again become the Chief Minister of Jharkhand and Champai Soren will resign. Champai Soren became emotional in the meeting before resigning.
Hemant Soren reached Champai Soren’s residence with Pradeep Yadav
In the meeting of the ruling party MLAs, Chief Minister Champai Soren said that we have fulfilled the responsibility given to us by the alliance. We ran the government in a good way for 5 months. When he started returning home after the meeting, he said – If you have to go to the Raj Bhavan, then let me know. After the meeting, Hemant Soren and Pradeep Yadav went to Champai Soren’s residence. From there, all three leaders left for the Raj Bhavan together. In the meeting, Hemant Soren said that we have to fight the upcoming assembly elections together. We all should remain united. BJP has to be defeated.

Champai Soren resigned from the post of Chief Minister
After the selection of the new leader, Champai Soren resigned from the post of Chief Minister on Wednesday. Also, the All India Alliance elected Hemant Soren as its leader. Hemant Soren will now take over as the CM of Jharkhand. In the meeting of the ruling party MLAs held at 11:00 am, it was approved to make Hemant Soren the Chief Minister again.
Champai Soren reached Raj Bhavan at 7 pm
After the meeting of the ruling party, Chief Minister Champai Soren reached the Raj Bhavan at 7:15 pm and submitted his resignation to Governor CP Radhakrishnan. Hemant Soren, Congress state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, state president Rajesh Thakur, MLAs Pradeep Yadav, Vinod Singh, Satyanand Bhokta reached the Raj Bhavan along with Chief Minister Shri Soren.
