Supriya Sule criticised the Maharashtra administration, led by the BJP and the Shiv Sena, claiming that they had no right to bother someone as busy as Prime Minister Modi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was sharply criticized by NCP-SCP MP Supriya Sule on Thursday, just hours after the PM’s visit to Pune, Maharashtra, was postponed due to severe rain. Sule said the PM has already launched the metro system in the city five times.
According to her, PM Modi would have inaugurated the identical project in Pune for the sixth time.
PM Modi was supposed to visit Pune for the metro’s inauguration, but it has already been done five times. PM Modi would have visited for the sixth time to complete the identical tasks, the woman claimed.
Supriya Sule criticised the Maharashtra administration, led by the BJP and the Shiv Sena, claiming that they had no right to bother someone as busy as Prime Minister Modi.
“This is very shocking that the Maharashtra government was seeking time from a busy person like the PM for the same task…” she stated.
It was Narendra Modi who was going to inaugurate development projects costing ₹22,600 crore and open the metro train line in Pune from District Court to Swargate.
His visit’s revised date would be revealed later.
PM Modi’s program was held at the SP College ground, which was flooded after heavy rains on Wednesday night.
“The program has been officially postponed and the PM’s visit to Pune has been cancelled,” stated Chandrakant Pulkundwar, the divisional commissioner for Pune.
“The program has been cancelled due to the orange alert (for heavy rains) issued for Thursday by the IMD,” Maharashtra Metro spokeswoman Hemant Sonawane stated. The program has been canceled for everyone’s safety since rain would cause problems for those attending.”
One of the largest states in the nation, Maharashtra, is probably going to have elections later this year.
