Manasilaayo: Written by Anirudh Ravichander, this new song from TJ Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan makes use of AI to help the late Malaysia Vasudevan sing.
Manasilaayo: On Monday, TJ Gnanavel’s Rajinikanth-starring film Vettaiyan released its first song. The song Manasilaayo, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, released a teaser on Sunday and is already making fans want to hear the full version.

Rajinikanth and Anirudh appear in Manasilaayo sporting fashionable avatars. Anirudh is dressed in a veshti, and Rajinikanth chooses to wear a black suit and dark sunglasses. Wearing a saree in shades of red and gold, Manju Warrier also participates in the dance routine.
Super Subu and Vishnu Edavan wrote the song’s lyrics, while Yugendran Vasudevan and Deepthi Suresh perform the vocals. The song’s primary attraction is the artificial intelligence (AI)-generated voice of the late Malaysia Vasudevan.
“Reviving the iconic voice of Malaysia Vasudevan for SUPERSTAR after 27 years!” announced the producers on Saturday. In case you missed it, the Malaysian-Indian playback singer-actor passed away in Chennai in 2011. Oor Kavalan, starring Rajinikanth, was his final movie with him.
About Vettaiyan
In addition to Rajinikanth and Manju, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Kishore, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, Abirami, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, and Rakshan are among the cast members of Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan. On October 10, the movie will be shown in theaters in honor of Dasara. The movie is Rajinikanth’s 170th.
Although the plot of Vettaiyan is unknown, it is said to center on the life of a retired police officer who battles corruption. The release date of Siva’s Suriya, Bobby Deol film Kanguva was originally scheduled for the same day, but the movie has been rescheduled to prevent a conflict. A new release date has not yet been announced, but it may arrive later in October.
Soon, Rajinikanth will also appear in Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. In addition to Soubin Shahir, the film stars Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Upendra.
