After filing a missing person report at the Kodigehalli police station, his wife Sriparna Dutta says the authorities have not been very helpful in finding her husband.
Bengaluru/Lucknow: His family is in a desperate situation after the mysterious disappearance of a 37-year-old techie from Lucknow who had relocated to Bengaluru in search of better job opportunities. The last time Vipin Gupta was seen was on August 4. He was employed at a company in Manyata Tech Park. Since then, his wife has been frantically pleading with the authorities for help, since it is unknown where he is.
Around 12:44 PM, Vipin, who had moved to Bengaluru in the hopes of a better future, vanished from his home. When last seen, he was carrying a t-shirt and riding his Kawasaki bike. His phone was turned off and ₹1,80,000 was taken out of his bank account shortly after he departed, adding to the worries about his safety.
After filing a missing person report at the Kodigehalli police station, his wife Sriparna Dutta says the authorities have not been very helpful in finding her husband. In a desperate search for information, Sriparna has resorted to social media, posting updates and requesting assistance—including a tearful Facebook Live broadcast—on her journey.
Sriparna made it clear in her broadcast that Vipin was not depressed or addicted to anything. She dispelled any rumors of marital problems by stating that their family was content and financially secure. In addition, Sriparna mentioned that the money that was taken out might have something to do with a recent purchase of a cell phone, but she has no further information.
Sriparna stated, “My husband never gambled or drank.” “As a happy family, we had no money problems. He had no known issues and wasn’t a combative person. Help is needed; we are inconsolable.”
Vipin’s family is becoming increasingly concerned as the days go by and they keep asking for help in finding him.
