Review of Kalki 2898 AD and live updates: Today marks the release of Nag Ashwin’s enormous magnum effort. This dystopian science-fiction action thriller blends mythology and futurism. The storyline and characters are drawn from the Mahabharata. Before its present title was disclosed, the movie went by the enigmatic and original title Project K.
Starring in Kalki 2898 AD are Prabhas, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone. Deepika will be viewed as Sumati, a mother once more, following Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra two years ago and Atlee’s Jawan last year. Prabhas plays Bhairava, a lighthearted, contemporary hero. This time, she portrays the mother of an unborn child that the evil forces intend to destroy because it is said to be Kalki, Lord Vishnu’s tenth incarnation.
Ashwatthama (Amitabh), who appears to have drawn inspiration from the Mahabharata’s immortal Ashwatthama, guards the unborn kid. Because of the diamond that is set into his forehead, he has lived through many ages. A younger, de-aged version of Amitabh is also shown in a flashback scene in the trailer. In the clip, he may also be seen engaging in intense action.
In Kalki 2898 AD, Kamal Haasan plays Yaskin, the presumed major antagonist who seeks to murder Sumati’s unborn kid since the infant may hold the key to defeating the Kalyug he has created. Disha Patani will play the bounty hunter Roxie, while Keerthy Suresh has been cast as Buji, a futuristic vehicle that is Bhairava’s sidekick.
