This year, comedy megastar Jim Jefferies will wow fans with an Australian tour by launching straight from your TV screen into venues.
The host of the 1% Club game show has revealed that he will be embarking on his Give ‘Em What They Want tour in Australia in August.
Before performing in a number of cities including Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, and Townsville, Jefferies will kick off the tour at Perth’s HBF Stadium.
The 47-year-old’s 2022 Antipodean tour proved to be a great success, selling out 27 dates all throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Also, Jeffers has sold out arenas all over the world, including renowned locations like Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena. These accomplishments make Jeffers a well-liked, thought-provoking, and esteemed comic.
His popular game show is still popular; in February, it drew 1,520,000 viewers nationwide.
Jefferies has garnered a large international following and critical recognition for his ability to approach contentious subjects with knowledge and humour. In 2019, the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal granted him the title of Stand-Up Comedian of the Year.
In addition to being a virtuoso of the game show genre, he has nine comedy specials on Netflix to his credit, including the widely acclaimed Freedom from 2017 and This Is Me Now from 2018 and Intolerant from 2020.
The Australian, who was born in Sydney, is also the host of the podcast I Don’t Know About That.
After garnering attention from a US audience with his comedy Legit, The Jim Jefferies Show, a late-night satire, became a global phenomenon for three years in a row after its premiere in 2017; Brad Pitt even requested to appear as a guest.
After receiving a scholarship offer from the Sydney Opera House and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Jefferies was discovered as a gifted young man.
Frontier will begin selling tickets for his tour on Friday, May 3 at 9:00 a.m. local time.
Beginning on Wednesday, May 1, Frontier Members can gain early access through the Frontier pre-sale.
