According to the New York Post, Jennifer Aniston, a well-known actress, was spotted getting covered with oil on Sunday while filming an unusual episode of her popular series The Morning Show in Manhattan. The 55-year-old Aniston was seen getting sprayed with the gooey, tar-like material and appearing upset as her white blouse and pants were ruined.
The Friends actress looked to be filming a scene when demonstrators surrounded Alex Levy and threw oil at her.
A number of Emmy nominations were recently received for the quirky drama, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Aniston and her 48-year-old co-star Reese Witherspoon.
The Morning Show takes place in the fictitious morning news program’s backstage area. It centers on rival anchors Bradley (Witherspoon) and Alex, and frequently addresses current issues including the influenza and the crisis in Russia and Ukraine.
“Happy Sweet 16 to you all! I’m so happy and honored of our show, our directors, and our incredibly talented cast and crew! #appreciative,” she wrote. After receiving 16 Emmy nominations for her show, she expressed her gratitude.
Aniston blasted Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance last week for remarks he had made about vice presidential contender Kamala Harris. A comment made by Vance in an interview from 2021—in which he called Kamala Harris, the current Democratic presidential nominee, and a number of other persons “people without children”—went viral.
He claimed that “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too” were in charge of the US, according to Deadline. Aniston responded angrily to these comments. She posted on Instagram, saying, “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day.”
During the Republican National Convention, Trump named Vance his running mate. President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential contest last week, designating his deputy, Kamala Harris, as the Democratic candidate.
