The Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 XL, and Pixel 9 Pro were unveiled on Tuesday at the tech giant’s Made By Google event. The Titan M2 security chip and the new Tensor G4 SoC are included with the flagship smartphones. The IP68 classification for water and dust resistance is included with all three phones. It has been confirmed that they will get security patches, Pixel Drops, and Android OS updates for seven years. While the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have 16GB of RAM, the Pixel 9 only has 12GB. While the Pro models have triple rear cameras, the standard variant has two.
Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL price in India
The single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage Pixel 9 variant that is sold in India costs Rs. 79,999. Peony, Porcelain, Obsidian, and Wintergreen colorways are available. Although a 128GB version is available, it will not be sold in the nation.
The Pixel 9 Pro, on the other hand, costs Rs. 1,09,999 for the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. For 1,24,999 rupees, you can purchase the 16GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Hazel, Porcelain, Rose Quartz, and Obsidian are the color options available for both Pro models.
Starting on August 22, the Pixel 9 lineup will be offered at retail locations by Reliance Digital, Flipkart, and Croma.

With seven years of OS updates, security patches, and Pixel Drops, the dual SIM (nano+eSIM) Pixel 9 is powered by Android 14. The accelerometer, proximity sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and ambient light sensor are among the onboard sensors. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Google Cast, GPS, Dual Band GNSS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port are among the phone’s connectivity options.

The 6.8-inch (1,344 x 2,992) SuperActua (LTPO) OLED display on the Pixel 9 Pro XL boasts a high pixel density of 486ppi, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection is a feature shared by both models.
The triple rear camera unit of the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL consists of a 48-megapixel Quad PD ultrawide camera, a 50-megapixel MP Octa PD wide camera, and a 48-megapixel Quad PD telephoto camera with up to 30x Super Res Zoom and 5x optical zoom. They have a 42-megapixel Dual PD selfie camera with autofocus for taking pictures and having video chats.
The Pro versions can record 8K video at 30 frames per second. The Pro duo is also equipped with an IP68 rating. The sensors and connectivity options are the same as those of the Pixel 9. On the other hand, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL come equipped with an Ultra-Wideband chip and an extra temperature sensor.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a marginally bigger 5,060mAh battery than the Pixel 9 Pro, which has a 4,700mAh battery. Both phones can be charged wirelessly using Qi chargers and at 45W through wired fast charging.
The Pixel 9 Pro weighs 199 grams and has dimensions of 152.8 x 72.0 x 8.5 mm. In contrast, the Pixel 9 Pro XL weighs 221 grams and has dimensions of 162.8×76.6×8.5 mm.
