It is being told that the attack took place on Machedi-Kindli-Malhar road in Billawar. Here 10 soldiers of the security forces were going on regular patrol on Machedi-Kindli-Malhar road near Badnota village in an army vehicle. The terrorists had taken position on a hill adjacent to Malhar road. As soon as the army vehicle passed, the terrorists ambushed and first threw a grenade and then started firing with modern weapons.

Security agencies suspect that about 3 terrorists were involved in the attack. Not only this, there is a possibility of a local guide also accompanying the terrorists during the attack. The terrorist organization Kashmir Tigers has taken responsibility for this attack. The organization says that its cadres have used M4 assault rifles, snipers, grenades and other weapons in this attack. The terrorist organization has vowed to carry out more such attacks in the coming days. The organization says that this attack is a revenge for the killing of 3 terrorists in Doda on June 26. Kashmir Tigers is a terrorist organization linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed. Earlier, this organization had also carried out attacks in Kathua, Reasi and Doda in Jammu region.
There was firing on the bus in Reasi
On June 9, terrorists attacked a bus carrying pilgrims from Shiv Khodi temple in Reasi district. The bus fell into a ditch after the firing by terrorists. 9 people lost their lives in this, while 41 people were injured.
Search for terrorists begins
After carrying out this attack, the terrorists fled into the forest. A search operation has been started to look for them. More contingents of security forces have been sent to find the terrorists. This is the second major attack in Kathua district within a month. Earlier, on June 12 and 13, two terrorists were killed and a CRPF jawan was martyred in a similar encounter.
