The Uber driver in Delhi not only kicked out passengers over their anti-India remarks but also hurled hateful slurs at them and called them Pakistani.
“You belong to Pakistan. After ejecting customers in Delhi for their alleged anti-Indian remarks, an Uber driver was heard remarking, “Halala ki aulad ho tum log [You guys are the offspring of Halala].” According to reports, the incident happened on August 9 in the middle of the night. One of the passengers recorded a video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media and drawn criticism from online users. While some applauded the driver for his actions, others were merely unhappy with the way he treated the passengers.
“Indians were being abused by a Pakistani and his female friend, who called them Matlabparast.” At first, the Uber driver told them to stop acting rudely. A user from X (formerly Twitter) shared the video on X and wrote, “He threw them both out when they crossed their limits.”
An Uber driver and his passengers got into a heated argument in Delhi, and the video of it went viral. The argument started when the driver heard the passengers talking about how they thought Delhi’s residents were conceited.
The driver became furious, taking offense at what he saw as an insult to India. The woman attempted in vain to defuse the situation by clarifying that their remarks were merely general observations about the city rather than personal assaults. In the middle of the night, the driver finally threw the passengers out of the cab because he was still very angry. He even called them Pakistanis and hurled derogatory remarks at them.
The video was shared on August 11 and has received over five lakh views to date. Many even shared their opinions in the post’s comments section.

Surprisingly, there were people sobbing and referring to the commuters as victims. What more is there to be done if you mistreat India in the nation’s capital, one person wrote.
“The driver should have remained silent and ignored the passenger’s discussions,” another person said, regardless of the situation or the identity of the passenger. He must ensure that the passenger reaches the destination without resorting to violence or abuse. He could have recorded a video and uploaded it at a later time. Nonetheless, serving passengers is his responsibility. We don’t have to display our backbone everywhere.
“I salute the taxi driver for his loyalty to the country. He didn’t give it much thought that he might lose his job. Bravo to him. Not only should someone from any religion be expelled from the country, but they should also be thrown out of taxis. A third said, “Jai Hind.”
