US Open 2024: Among the elite players competing on Day 5 of the hard-court major at Flushing Meadows are Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and Novak Djokovic.
At the US Open in 2024, the reigning champions Novak Djokovic and Coco Gauff will be in action on Day 5. In the second round at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Gauff will face Elina Svitolina of Ukraine, who presents a formidable challenge. In the third match of the day, Djokovic will face Australia’s Alexei Popyrin at the same location.
This year’s runner-up, Aryna Sabalenka, will take on Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova. Tomas Martin Etcheverry of Argentina will face World No. 4 Alexander Zverev. Paula Badosa, who is competing at Flushing Meadows for the first time, will take on Romania’s Elena-Gabriela Ruse.
Rohan Bopanna of India will also be participating. After playing with Matthew Ebden in the men’s doubles second round, he will team up with Aldila Sutjadi in the mixed doubles competition. Yuki Bhambri and N Sriram Balaji will also compete in their individual men’s doubles matches.
