The film also has cameo appearances by Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma
Anand Tiwari’s Bad Newz opened in theaters this Friday. On its first day of release, the movie, which starred Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, Ammy Virk, and Neha Dhupia, started off well at the box office. According to Sacnilk, Bad Newz made about 8.50 crore India net on its debut day. According to the study, on Friday, July 19, Bad Newz had an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 22.83%. Apart from the remarkable ensemble cast of the movie, there are cameos by actors Neha Sharma and Ananya Panday.
The idea of heteropaternal superfecundation is explored in the movie. It tells the tale of Saloni Bagga, a chef (played by Triptii), who becomes pregnant with twins after having sex with two different guys (Amy Virk and Vicky Kaushal), which results in a hilarious chain of events.
Review response to Bad Newz’s debut was mainly mixed. Saibal Chatterjee, a film critic for NDTV, gave the movie two stars out of five and said, “Vicky Kaushal is the key to saving Bad Newz, Dharma Productions’ 2019 follow-up to the far more lively (if not more quirky) Good Newwz, which depended on a few IVFs gone wrong. While some restraint would have been wiser, the lead actor plays the part of a brazen and reckless West Delhi momma’s boy his all.”
The project, which was directed by Anand Tiwari, was produced by Tiwari, Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Amritpal Singh Bindra. On July 19, the movie was released in theaters.
