Bihar Police Constable Candidates found eligible for the written examination will have to appear and pass the Physical Efficiency Test
Bihar Police Recruitment Board has declared the results of the written examination held on November 14 for the post of constable. Candidates who appeared in the examination can download the result by visiting the official website i.e. csbc.bihar.gov.in.
A total of 11,94,590 candidates appeared in the examination held on 7, 11, 18, 21, 25 and 28 August, out of which 106955 candidates have been selected. These selected candidates will now be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Candidates found eligible for the next phase on the basis of written examination will have to appear and pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Separate information regarding date, time and venue of physical examination will be published on the website of the Board. CSBC PET Admit Ca

At the time of PET, all candidates will appear for Document Verification (DV) at the time given in their admit card and carry a photocopy of the acknowledgment of their online application form along with necessary certificates such as
- Valid id
- Date of birth certificate
- Passing certificate
- 10th mark sheet
- Reservation Certificate etc.
Bihar police ineligible candidates 2024
- Out of the candidates who appeared in the written examination, 511 candidates were declared ineligible due to various reasons, the details of which are as follows.
- Malpractice/Based on FIR – 80
- On the basis of wrong roll number/question booklet – 431
Bihar Police Cutoff Marks 2024
The cutoff marks will be declared by the Commission. However, the minimum passing marks for the exam is 30 marks. The final selection will be done on the basis of Physical Eligibility Test (PET), but candidates will have to clear the written test to qualify for PET.

Step 1: First of all open the browser and go to the website of Bihar Police Recruitment Board.
Step 2: On the homepage, you will see a link to download the result, i.e. ‘Results: Written Examination Result for Shortlisting of Candidates for PET (Advt. No. 01/2023 – Constable in Bihar Police)’
Step 3: Scroll the page and check the roll numbers of all the shortlisted candidates.
Step 4: Use ctrl+v to check your roll number in the list.
There are 42,780 vacancies in Unreserved Category (UR), while 10,700 posts are vacant in Economically Weaker Category (EWS). There are 17,000 vacancies in the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, and 1,140 vacancies in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. Apart from this, 3,275 posts are vacant in Backward Class Women (BCW) category. Overall, 1,06,955 posts are vacant in all categories.
This examination is being conducted for a total of 21,391 vacancies of constable posts in District Police/Bihar Special Armed Police/other units in the constable cadre of Bihar Police. A total of 18,33,387 candidates have registered online, out of which 27,672 applications were rejected, 14,484 were incomplete applications and 17,91,231 applications were completed.
