Beyonce is one of four female artists nominated in the top three general categories, along with Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter.
With a career-high 11 nominations for her Cowboy Carter album and associated tracks, Beyonce is sweeping the 2025 Grammys, outpacing her previous best of 10. But she’s hardly the only strong woman in the news this year. Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter are the four female artists nominated alongside Beyonce in the top three general categories: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year.
In addition to being nominated for Best New Artist, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter are also in the running for all four of the major Grammy categories. They would become the first musicians to accomplish that since Billie Eilish in 2020 if they were to win Best New Artist in addition to Record, Song, and Album of the Year.
With seven nominations apiece, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and Charli XCX are in close pursuit of Beyonce’s stellar eleven nominations. Each of Sabrina, Taylor, and Chappell received six nominations.
