On Friday, Nana Patole, the chief of the Maharashtra Congress, examined what looked to be cracks in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Seva Atal Setu bridge. Nonetheless, the state administration made it clear that the sidewalk where the fissures started is not a part of the main bridge.
The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), also called the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, has drawn attention since cracks started to show up on its tar road exit toward Ulwe in Navi Mumbai. Just over five months ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Atal Setu, the nation’s longest sea bridge.
The Maharashtra government stated that the small cracks were discovered on the approach road linking Atal Setu and that the aforementioned walkway was not a component of the main bridge, despite the Congress accusing the government of corruption over the fractures on the recently opened bridge.
