Following a shooting in the Denver area last week, 29-year-old Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds and other victims were hurt.
After leaving a strip club in the Denver area last week, Josh Reynolds, an American football wide receiver for the Denver Broncos of the NFL, was reportedly shot twice. He sustained injuries to his left arm and the back of his head from the unusual gunshot.
Additionally, the shooting at Shotgun Willie’s in the Denver suburbs injured two additional males. One sustained injuries from broken glass, and another was shot in the back.
NFL’s Josh Reynolds and 2 other victims were followed after their strip club visit in Denver
It is thought that the two men who were with the 29-year-old professional football player were being followed as they left the strip club. According to reports, they were inside a blue Ford Bronco when they were shot at. Numerous 911 calls were placed to authorities last Friday early, according to local news source 9News.
The vehicle had “numerous bullet defects in the back driver-side and front windshield,” according to the findings of the authorities’ investigation.
Reynolds and the other victims described the incident in court records, stating that they did not experience any disruptions within the strip club. But as soon as they left the institution and went for the highway, a number of cars began to follow them.
Suspects in relation to Josh Reynolds’ shooting arrested
Denver police said they detained two individuals in connection with the shooting on Wednesday: Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza. Mendoza’s car was seen on surveillance footage right behind Reynolds’ and the other victims’ car. Charlesworth allegedly explained to the authorities that he was assisting a buddy who had requested that he track down the victims because of their previous involvement.
After being placed on the injured reserve list (IR) due to a finger injury, Reynolds missed last Thursday’s game against the Saints, prompting the Broncos to issue a statement. The notice stated, “Josh Reynolds was treated for minor injuries after being shot in Denver on Friday.” “We will leave additional comment on this matter to the authorities out of respect for the legal process.”
