On Sunday, Aadar Jain announced his engagement to girlfriend Alekha Advani on Instagram. The actor, who is the nephew of Kareena Kapoor’s aunt Rima Jain and Ranbir Kapoor, was spotted proposing marriage to his “first crush.” On Aadar’s post, celebrities like Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor have left comments, along with Kareena and her actor-sister Karisma Kapoor. ‘My best friend and now my forever’
He captioned Alekha with, “My best friend, my first crush, and now, my forever (ring and heart eyes emojis).” Alekha and Aadar, who had dated actor Tara Sutaria before, were twinned in white for the proposal pictures.
The couple appeared to be kissing in one of the photos from the romantic beach proposal, where he was holding her up in his arms. As he placed the ring on her finger, she also fell to her knees.
Aadar made a grandiose proposal to Alekha, complete with a massive LED decoration that read “Marry me” and heart-shaped lights that were embedded in rose petals in the sand, as seen in the pictures.

On his post, Kareena Kapoor left a comment saying, “Yayyyyyyy. Mehendi laga rakhna ke laga.The song “Doli Saja Ke Rahkna” is taken from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. “Congratulations to you both,” Karisma said. Ananya made the following comment: “Well done! Very, very lovely.”

When Aadar shared a picture of himself with Alekha and called her the “light of his life,” he revealed their relationship to the public in November 2023. They had previously been spotted together at Kareena and Saif Ali Khan’s Diwali celebrations. In 2023, Alekha made her debut in public alongside Aadar at Kareena’s party.
Alekha is the creator of Way Well, a company that hosts interactive workshops, events, and wellness programs. Alekha, according to Way Well’s website, “graduated from Cornell Hotel School in 2016 and spent three years in an Operations focused role at Soho House in Mumbai, and two years as a hospitality consultant at Deloitte in Los Angeles.”
