Mumbai: To introduce his own collection of performance apparel, cricketer Hardik Pandya has signed an exclusive license agreement with FanCode Shop, the online store owned by Dream Sports. Additionally, he unveiled his brand identity.
FanCode Shop will create, produce, and sell the goods under the Hardik Pandya brand as part of the agreement. A revenue-sharing arrangement has been formed between the parties.
Priced between ₹999 to ₹2,299, the first product selection consists of t-shirts, vests, polos, shorts, and jackets.
Nikhil Bardia of Rise Worldwide declared that Pandya will enter the licencing market with the introduction of his performance clothing line and brand identity. Up until now, he has solely done endorsement deals. Pandya presently charges ₹2-3 crore each deal and endorses 20 different brands.
The merchandising and licensing division of FanCode, FanCode Shop, will manage the entire product and customer experience, including production, shipping, customer support, and marketing. FanCode Shop has been the official merchandise partner of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 since its establishment. Additionally, it sells memorabilia for well-known sports teams like PSG, Juventus, Barcelona, and Manchester City.
FanCode Shop constructed and oversaw official Mega Stores for several IPL teams, including the Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Sunrisers Hyderabad, during the IPL.
