Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to philosopher and monk Swami Vivekananda on Thursday, the 122nd anniversary of his passing, saying that millions find strength in his teachings.

The prime minister went on to reaffirm that the administration is dedicated to realizing Vivekananda’s vision of a thriving and forward-thinking society.
“We reiterate our commitment to fulfilling his dream of a prosperous and progressive society” , he wrote on “X”.
Philosopher, monk, and religious instructor Swami Vivekananda was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, on January 12, 1863. He went by Narendranath Datta in full.
