According to the authorities, the complainant in the purported video made up a bogus report.
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Mumbai Police revealed on Sunday that a fake complaint was made to the Khar Police against actor Raveena Tandon, alleging that she had assaulted and driven recklessly while intoxicated.
Ms. Tandon posted a screenshot of a post from “Viral Bhayani” on “X” stating that Raveena’s automobile did not hit anyone and she was not intoxicated, and that the complainant had filed a fake report in the matter.
According to the post, Zone 9 Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rajtilak Roshan denied the allegations in an interview with a daily published in Mumbai.
“In the purported video, the complainant made a bogus complaint. After going through all of the society’s CCTV footage, we discovered that while the family was crossing the same lane, the actress’s driver was reversing the car from the road into the society. An dispute broke out between them after the family halted the vehicle and advised the driver to look behind him before reversing,” the DCP stated in an interview with the daily.
As the dispute heated up, Raveena stopped by to see how her driver was doing and made an effort to shield him from the crowd. After making their complaints at the Khar police station, the two retracted them.
“As soon as the debate turned violent, actress Raveena Tandon showed there to find out what had happened with her driver. The mob began harassing the actress when she attempted to shield the driver from them. The family proceeded to the Khar police station with written complaints, as did Raveena Tandon. Afterwards, they both sent in letters declaring that they did not wish to file any complaints, according to DCP Rajtilak Roshan.
DCP Rajtilak Roshan went on to say, “This incident did not result in any injuries.” The CCTV footage we viewed showed no one being struck by the automobile. The actress wasn’t intoxicated.
The Mumbai Police were cited on an internet portal in another screenshot that Raveena posted in the same article, stating that neither party has filed any complaints.
As Tandon’s driver attempted to reverse the vehicle in order to park it, three members of a family became concerned that they would be struck. Following the altercation, all sides departed; later, police arrived and questioned Tandon’s employees. The other individual was summoned to the police station as well. Both sides refuted filing any complaints, according to a statement from Mumbai Police.
As per the article, the police statement surfaced following the viral footage of the incident on social media, in which Raveena Tandon was heard pleading with people to calm down and saying, ‘don’t strike me.’

According to the report, she and her driver were accused of being intoxicated, but the police refuted these claims as untrue.
Actress Raveena Tandon’s driver was reportedly involved in a fight outside her home last night as the car was being parked on the building’s property.
A family was passing in front of the building’s gate as the driver reversed the car, according to the Mumbai Police. Feeling that the vehicle would strike them, a brawl erupted between the driver of Raveena Tandon and three of the family’s ladies over the disagreement.
After hearing the confrontations between her driver and the family, Raveena left the house. But both parties fled after a heated argument.
When the police arrived at the scene, they questioned Raveena’s employees and summoned both parties to the Khar Police Station after gathering information.
According to authorities, no one was hurt in the incident, and no cars collided. They also stated that no complaints had been made by anybody.
