In an effort to protect the safety of their youngsters, schools throughout the city are already sending out messages to parents asking them to come pick up their children.
On Wednesday morning, more than fifty schools in Delhi-NCR received bomb threats by email. Several schools have acted quickly and started evacuating their pupils, making sure they are safe and following all the procedures.
The Delhi Police claim that several schools, including Mother Marry School in East Mayur Vihar, Amity School in Pushp Vihar, DAV School in South West Delhi, Mother Marry School in Dwarka, and Vasant Kunj sections of Delhi Public School (DPS), received the bomb threat. A similar bomb threat was also received by DPS Noida.
As soon as the threat was received, the school was evacuated, and the pupils were sent home, sources informed India Today TV.

Even though many schools had not received the signals, they nevertheless ordered pupils to evacuate in order to protect them.
“Dear parent, Cambridge School, Noida assures you that we have not received any bomb threat via email or phone call,” stated one of the texts. However, we are making arrangements for the school buses to return the pupils home as soon as possible, taking in mind everyone’s safety and security. When the busses depart from the school, we will let you know. In the next thirty minutes or so (before the buses leave school), parents who would like to personally come and pick up their child are welcome to do so. The Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar has also sent a similar note to the parents of its kids. “Dear Parents, we are currently dispersing smoothly under the current false state. Evacuating the school building has already taken place. To get their kids back and assist us in controlling the traffic, parents might get in touch with the teachers of the classes. Following the on footer distribution, school busses will depart. Please inform us of any difficulties you may be having, and we will take appropriate action.
Some schools, though, are going forward with their lessons and advising the parents not to freak out. Parents of pupils at Presentation Convent School in Delhi received the following message: “Your ward is safe and secure in the school. There is no need for you to panic.” Our top priority is keeping your child safe. We greatly value your collaboration.
