CMT Music Awards for 2024
The biggest names in country music came together on Sunday night for the 2024 CMT Music Awards, which honored the best in country music videos and television performances.
Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, and Kelsea Ballerini, who made her fourth appearance as the ceremony’s host, shared the lead in nominations heading into the evening with three apiece. Jelly Roll proceeded to win every single category in which he received nominations.
Voting for the video of the year category remained available during Sunday night’s show. The CMT Music category winners are chosen solely by fan vote. The field for video of the year was reduced from the initial 16 nominees to six on April 1st, depending on voting. The last trio of candidates.
