Operation Sindoor: According to the officials, the precision strikes were executed with carefully chosen warheads and specialized technological weapons.

    Operation Sindoor

Overnight aerial strikes in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK) destroyed nine terror camps used by organizations like as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad to carry out attacks in India.

The media was informed on the precision strikes on terror camps by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Colonel Sofiya Qureshi.

Mehmoona Joya and Markaz Taiba, Muridke, and Markaz Subhanallah in Bahawalpur, as well as Sarjal camp in Sialkot, were among the targets hit in Pakistan. The targets in POK were Barnala camp in Bhimber, Gulpur and Abbas camps in Kotli, and Sawai Nala and Syedna Bilal in Muzaffarabad.

    (POK) Muzaffarabad

A crucial Lashkar-e-Taiba training ground was the Sawai Nala camp in Muzaffarabad, POK, which is roughly 30 kilometers from the Line of Control. In addition to the Pahalgam incident, terrorists trained here had attacked security officers and civilians in Gulmarg and Sonmarg last year.

    Operation Sindoor

The Jaish-e-Mohammad staged attacks throughout the Line of Control from the Syedna Belal camp in Muzaffarabad. Terrorists received training here in jungle survival, weaponry, and explosives.

Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base camp was the Gulpur camp in Kotli, which is 30 kilometers from the Line of Control. Terrorists who received training here worked in Rajauri-Poonch and carried out assaults on a pilgrimage bus last year as well as in Poonch in 2023. Operation Sindoor Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, the architect of the Mumbai attacks, allegedly visited this center frequently for indoctrination.

    Operation Sindoor

About 13 kilometers from the Line of Control was the Abbas camp near Kotli, which served as the training ground for Lashkar’s suicide bombers. Operation Sindoor Approximately fifty terrorists could have been trained at this location.

    Operation Sindoor

    Bhimber (POK)

Nine kilometers from the line of command, the Barnala camp near Bhimber served as a training ground for terror recruits in the use of weapons and explosives. Additionally, they learned how to survive in the forest.

    Pakistan’s Sialkot

The distance between the Sarjal camp in Sialkot and the International Border was roughly 6 km. Terrorists trained here carried out the March attack in Jammu and Kashmir that killed four police officers.

About 12 kilometers separated the Mehmoona Joya camp at Sialkot from the International Boundary. The Hizbul Mujahideen utilized it as a training ground and to disseminate terrorism in the Kathua-Jammu area. This camp served as the command center for the 2016 attack on the Pathankot airfield.

    Muridke, Pakistan

Lashkar-e-Taiba’s headquarters were at the Markaz Taiba camp in Muridke, which is around 25 kilometers from the border. Operation Sindoor The terrorist who was apprehended alive after the Mumbai attacks, Ajmal Kasab, has admitted to receiving his training here. It is said that David Headley trained here as well.

    Shahawalpur, Pakistan

Jaish-e-Mohammad’s headquarters were at the Markaz Subhan camp in Bhawalpur, around 100 kilometers from the border. Potential recruits were enlisted, trained, and brainwashed using it. Masood Azhar and other terror leaders often visited this camp.

According to the officers, the precision strikes were executed with specialized technology weapons and carefully chosen payloads to prevent collateral damage. Each strike’s site of impact was a particular building or collection of buildings.

They said that there have been no reports of collateral damage and that no military facility was targeted.
