Ali Zafar, Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas, and Sajal Aly are among the other Pakistani superstars whose Instagram accounts have been blocked in India.

In India, a number of Pakistani actors, such as Mahira Khan and Hania Aamir, have had their Instagram accounts deleted. Hania Aamir’s account is said to be among the first impacted, and users throughout the nation are unable to access their profiles.

Following the Pahalgam terror assault on April 22, in which terrorists from The Resistance Force (TRF), a branch of the outlawed Pakistani terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), opened fire on 26 persons, tensions between India and Pakistan have been on the rise.

Ali Zafar, Sanam Saeed, Bilal Abbas, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas, and Sajal Aly are among the other Pakistani superstars whose Instagram accounts have been blocked in India.

It’s interesting to note that some other well-known Pakistani actors, such as Fawad Khan and Wahaj Ali, still have active Instagram accounts in India.

According to official sources, India has banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels in addition to the celebrities’ Instagram accounts for allegedly disseminating false narratives and provocative and communally sensitive information that targets the nation, its Army, and security services.

Additionally, the former cricket player Shoaib Akhtar’s YouTube channel, which had more than 3.5 million subscribers, was taken down.

The government’s response to the April 22 attack included a number of other actions before the most recent one.

Among other things, India has canceled Pakistani nationals’ visas, terminated the Indus Waters Treaty, and reduced diplomatic ties with Pakistan Hania Aamir by reducing the number of employees at the Indian and Pakistani High Commissions in Islamabad and New Delhi, respectively.

With Pakistani officials on edge and worried about Indian military reprisals, tensions have been growing daily.
