On June 9, the TNPSC group 4 exam was administered throughout the state. There was only one shift for the examination, which ran from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
Part A, also known as the Tamil Eligibility-cum Scoring Test, was one of the two portions of the question paper. There were 100 questions in this section, for 150 points.
150 marks were awarded for the Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 questions) and General Studies (75 questions) in the second section of the paper.
The second section of the paper could only be evaluated by individuals who received 40 percent (60 marks) or higher on the first paper.
On June 18, the TNPSC group 4 preliminary answer key was made public.
Additionally, the commission has expanded the number of openings. 6,244 was the initial score for the recruitment exam. The commission increased the number of openings to 8,932 by first adding 480 and then another 2,208. The commission disclosed an additional 559 vacancies on the day of the results. With this, there are 9491 open positions that need to be filled.
