According to the airline, there is a slowdown throughout its network.
Due to a significant technical issue, IndiGo Airlines is experiencing long waits at check-in counters at airports and trouble booking tickets.
About an hour after the issues started on Saturday at 1:30 pm, the airline said that it was having “temporary system slowdown” issues over its entire network. It issued a warning that travelers might have to deal with extended wait times, particularly in airport lines.
“We are currently experiencing a temporary system slowdown across our network, affecting our website and booking system,” the airline wrote in a post on X. Customers may have lengthier wait times as a result, such as slower check-ins and longer lines at the airport.”
IndiGo stated that its teams are ready to help travelers at airports and that they are working to get everything back to normal as soon as possible.
“We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and patience during this time,” it continued.
Some social media users, including those on the airline’s own website, have complained that they are unable to order tickets and have shared pictures of lengthy lines at airports.
