It is important for candidates to be aware that in order to access and download the SSC CGL 2024 Tire-1 Exam Answer Key, they must first give their login credentials, which include their SSC Registration Number, Password (which they created during the registration process), and Captcha.
SSC CGL 2024: Step-by-step guide to download the answer key
- Go to the official website of SSC at www.ssc.gov.in
- Go to ‘Login’ tab available on the top-right of the homepage
- Enter the login credentials like: Registration Number, Password and enter Captcha
- A new window will open, select ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 (TIER-I)’
- Click on the answer key link available on the page
- Check and download the answer key of the exam
- Save the answer key for future reference
If candidates have any concerns about the provisional answer keys and would like to submit a challenge to them, they can voice their objections between September 3 and September 6 at 6 p.m. Candidates must pay Rs. 100 for each question or contested answer. Representations received after 6:00 PM on September 6th will not be entertained.

- Go to the official website of SSC at www.ssc.gov.in
- Go to ‘Login’ tab available on the top-right of the homepage
- Enter the login credentials like: Registration Number, Password and enter Captcha
- Click to ‘Answer Key Challenge’ under ‘My Applications’ tab
- Click on Challenge System
- Then again login
- Click on ‘Proceed for Payment’ and then on ‘Pay’
- Now, click on ‘Submit’ to submit your representation
Tier-1 exam consisted of 100 multiple choice questions, which encompassed subjects including general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, numeric ability, and English comprehension. There were 25 questions in each phase, with a possible 50 marks. With the exception of English comprehension, the questions were written in both Hindi and English. There was a negative grading of 0.50 for each erroneous response.
