AP Fans of Dhillon are relieved that he is safe following reports of gunfire outside his Vancouver, Canada, home. In a recent update, the singer stated as much.
Singer AP Dhillon took to Instagram a few hours after it was reported that gunshots were fired outside his Vancouver, Canada, home, assuring his fans of his safety. An article in India Today claims that gangster Rohit Godara and imprisoned Lawrence Bishnoi are the ones who took credit for the shooting.
‘Peace and love to all’
The singer, who was born in Punjab and has long since moved to Canada, posted on Instagram Stories on Tuesday, saying, “I’m safe.” My folks are secure. We are grateful to all those who got in touch. Your help is greatly appreciated (shrugging hands emoji). To everyone, love and peace.”
‘Glad you’re safe’
AP Dhillon also uploaded a video of himself jamming to his song Sweet Flower on Instagram Reels at about the same time. With a caption that read, “Keep spreading love,” he posted. On his most recent video, a fan wrote, “Happy you’re safe.” Someone else commented, “Be safe, bro.” “Thank God he is safe, @apdhillon take care of yourself,” exclaimed a second fan.
What we know so far
AP Dhillon resides on Victoria Island in British Columbia. He is well-known for his songs Brown Munde, Excuses, Summer High, With You, and Dil Nu, among others. A man is seen firing several shots at night from outside a house in a video that is making the rounds online. Hindustan Times has not independently confirmed this footage. The location is still unconfirmed.
Furthermore, gangster Rohit Godara is claiming responsibility for the firings that happened at Victoria Island and Woodbridge Toronto in Canada, according to a widely shared social media post. When the singer included actor Salman Khan in a recent music video for his song Old Money, he apparently fired outside the singer’s house. The thug has threatened to kill AP Dhillon and says he is connected to Lawrence Bishnoi.
Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi were mentioned by Salman Khan in the chargesheet Mumbai Police filed in July regarding the shooting incident outside his residence. In his statement, Salman said, “So, I believe that Lawrence Bishnoi, with the help of his gang members, carried out the firing incident when my family members were sleeping and (they were) planning to kill me and my family members.” He reported to the police that his family and he had received multiple threats in the past few years.
