In a recent interview, Karan Singh Grover discussed his divorce for the first time. According to the actor, all parties involved have “moved on” with their lives.
On television, one of the most recognizable faces is Karan Singh Grover. The actor and Bipasha Basu are married, and in 2022, their daughter Devi was born. Karan discussed his failed marriages and his first-ever divorces from Jennifer Winget and Shraddha Nigam in a recent interview with The Times of India, claiming that everything “worked out for the best.” (Also read: Jennifer Winget says she “went back to my shell” after divorcing Karan Singh Grover.)
What Karan said
When asked about his divorces in the recent interview, Karan responded, “There’s nothing good about a breakup or a divorce.” Sure, when people move on and move on, they do realize that it was a good thing that happened. That is advantageous. But because I don’t expect people to come to me and talk to me about the crap that’s happening in their lives, I never felt the need to talk to anyone about the crap that’s happening in my life. That is not my primary goal. I want to share some happiness and love. Everyone must deal with their own s**t, and in my opinion, everyone is entitled to that level of privacy in order to do so.
‘I know myself today because of Bipasha’
In his speech, Karan also discussed how his wife Bipasha’s presence has changed his life. “I am the person I am today because of her. There has been such a significant shift. Like going from being a nocturnal creature to someone who wants to see every sunrise and sunset,” he continued.
On the set of Alone in 2015, Karan fell in love with actor Bipasha Basu. The wedding took place on April 30, 2016. Devi, their daughter, was born in November 2022. Karan Singh Grover was married twice before he married Bipasha. In 2008, Karan wed the actress Shraddha Nigam. On the Dill Mill Gayye set, he later got to know actress Jennifer Winget, with whom he began dating. They got married in 2012, and ten months into their marriage, they filed for divorce.
Regarding his career, Karan most recently starred in the film Fighter alongside Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan.
