The relationship between Joey Lawrence and Melina Alves deteriorated this month. A person who spoke with People Magazine claimed that Joey was accused of “love-bombing” Melina by putting on an almost oppressive show of affection.
Additionally, after two years of marriage, Joey Lawrence’s wife Samantha Cope filed for divorce on August 13, citing irreconcilable differences. This made matters worse for the two of them, especially for Melina. Celebrity divorces are not unusual, but what happened next was not anticipated.
