The voices of AbRam Khan, Aryan Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan are featured in Mufasa: The Lion King. The film will be available on December 20.
In the prequel to the 2019 adaptation of the 1994 animated film The Lion King, Shah Rukh Khan reprises his role as the Lion King. In Mufasa: The Lion King, the actor voices the title character in an animated musical drama with a photorealistic style.
For the Hindi-dubbed version, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan have also provided voices for the roles of Simba and Young Mufasa, respectively, in addition to Shah Rukh. (Also read: Shah Rukh Khan claims that he taught Aryan Khan taekwondo and that at birth, he resembled Jackie Chan.)
In the teaser, we see Pumbaa, Timon, and the elderly mandrill Rafiki telling young Kiara—the daughter of Simba and Nala—the story of Mufasa. Timon and Pumbaa are voiced by Shreyas Talpade and Sanjay Mishra, respectively.
The trailer tells the tale of how Daka, a lion cub who would later become Scar, saved an orphaned Mufasa. The narrative explores Mufasa’s brotherly relationship with Daka and how, as a son, he is accepted by his family. The adult Mufasa’s voice is provided by Shah Rukh. The final scene of the trailer shows the two brothers facing off against lions from a rival clan in a fight for The Lion King’s throne.
