Due to her nonattendance at a bankruptcy hearing last month, the former glamour model had an arrest warrant out for her. The TV personality was set to give a testimony regarding her financial situation in front of a London-based bankruptcy court. The first time Katie was declared bankrupt was in November 2019, and the second time was in March of the same year.
The 46-year-old mother was informed that failing to show up for the most recent hearing could result in her arrest. Katie went to Turkey for more cosmetic procedures, including a facelift, in spite of the arrest warrant. Later on, she was seen at Heathrow Airport conversing with policemen in the rear of a police van.
“A 46-year-old Surrey woman was arrested at Heathrow Airport at 19:45 hours on Thursday, August 8th for failing to appear at court,” the Metropolitan Police said in a statement. She is scheduled to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice tomorrow, Friday, August 9, but has been remanded in custody at a police station in west London.”
After his girlfriend was placed under police custody on Thursday night, her boyfriend, JJ Slater, was seen arriving at Heathrow Airport. The celebrity was seen unwinding by the hotel pool recently, sporting staples and obvious blood on her face.
She didn’t think twice to join her son Harvey in the pool despite her recent wounds. She soon had to face reality, though, as she was subsequently taken into custody at a UK airport. She told her fans on social media just hours before her arrest that she was “aware” that she would soon be arrested.
