Senior BJP leader LK Advani has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi again. This news comes almost a month after he was discharged from the hospital last time. The condition of 96-year-old Advani is said to be stable and doctors are monitoring him. Advani has been admitted under the supervision of neurologist Dr Vineet Suri. A few days before being admitted to Apollo Hospital last month, Advani was also admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Advani was the Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004 and the Union Home Minister from 1999 to 2004. PM Modi also met him before forming his third government. LK Advani was awarded the country’s highest civilian honor ‘Bharat Ratna’. President Draupadi Murmu conferred this honor at his residence in March. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Advani’s family members were present at the award ceremony.
Advani under doctors’ observation
Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani’s health has deteriorated again. He has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi again. However, sources say that his condition is stable. 96-year-old Lal Krishna Advani is currently under the doctor’s supervision. The doctor’s team is very active regarding Advani’s health. Lal Krishna Advani was admitted to the Neurology Department of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital on Tuesday morning.
